Formerly known as Catholic World MC, we are a devoted community of Catholic gamers who want to show our love for Christ and His one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church through the popular game Minecraft.
LEARN MORE AND GROW IN YOUR FAITH
Here at Pro Deo MC, we provide many opportunities for our community of gamers to learn more about the Catholic faith thru various means. We have apologetics, Q&A forums, and the popular devotions such as the Rosary, Stations of the Cross (during Lenten season), and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. We also have the Saint of the Day where we feature popular and not-so-known Catholic saints whose holy and exemplary lives are worth emulating.
But what makes us different from the other Catholic-based servers is that we have brought back to life the Missa Sicca (Latin for ‘dry Mass’), a form of Catholic devotion used in the medieval Catholic Church. It consisted of all components of the Mass except the Offertory, Consecration and Communion. The Missa Sicca is celebrated regularly on our very own Minecraft server by devout Catholic gamers roleplaying as clergy.
Our community has been around circa 2020, and we have stayed true to our mission of using the medium of video games (Minecraft) to evangelize.
We have been through a lot of trials, false accusations, and other eventualities that could potentially destroy communities, but we managed to stick together and stand strong…because God is always there to guide us through it all.

THE HOUSE IN CORINTH
As Catholics, it is our duty to care for the mental well-being of our gamers. As the great Saint John Paul II once said:
“Whoever suffers from mental illness ‘always’ bears God’s image and likeness in himself, as does every human being. In addition, he ‘always’ has the inalienable right not only to be considered as an image of God and therefore as a person, but also to be treated as such.“
(St. Pope John Paul II, 1996)
We at Pro Deo MC advocate for mental health, and so we will do our best to fight the stigma and eliminate ignorance. Through the House in Corinth, we provide moral and spiritual support for our gamers who are struggling with their mental health, in addition to allowing them to freely vent out their problems and frustrations. We will also do our best to educate our community on mental health, and if anyone should have any thoughts of s*****e, we will refer them to the help-lines that we have provided on our Discord server.
